Cabopino Playa, Spain - Tolerated Nude Beach

Cabopino Playa is located east of Costa Natura, about half way between Marbella and Fuengirola. This nude beach is backed by extensive dunes which have a reputation for being 'cruised' by gay men and swinging couples, although this problem is minor and doesn't extend to the main beach itself. There is a section of beach about half a mile long which is nudist, although it's normal to wear clothes when visiting the bar. To get to the beach, follow signs for Puerto Cabopino and just before you reach the port turn right into a large car park. You can park here and walk through the dunes and pine trees to the nude beach or continue driving along a sandy track towards Las Dunas bar, which marks the end of the clothing optional part of the beach, and park there.

CABOPINO PLAYA NUDE BEACH REPORTS:

  1. Getting to Cabopino Playa Nude Beach was an easy public bus ride from Marbella. The beach is beautiful, and even during a weekday was well attended by mostly couples. Besides the couples I did see a few single ladies on the beach. Single men were present, but mostly in the dunes behind the beach. They keep to themselves and I did not see any public display of anything sexual. I'm not sure if the men were cruising, or just interested in looking at the nude bodies on the beach. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable on the beach and in fact walked through the dunes without any concern. Overlooking the beach was a very nice bar with places to sit and beach umbrellas for rent. I would recommend Cabopino Playa Nude Beach to any nudist couple as a safe fun place to go. - Jim F.
