The vast beach of Cabo de Gata, stretching for several kilometres, is within a protected national park area. Expect to find an easy mix of clothed and nude bathers. The beach is adjacent to the road between Cabo de Gata and Almadrava de Montelva, although this road is sometimes blocked off just east of the Cabo de Gata peninsula to restrict the number of visitors to the park area. You may even be lucky enough to see some pink flamingos on the nearby salt flats. |
