Faliraki
town is a major tourist resort, with many problems of unruly drunken behaviour by (mainly British) tourists. However, these problems don't really affect the beaches, particularly the nude beach which is located southwest of the main town in its own small cove and is the only officially recognised nude beach in Rhodes. This sand and shingle beach is almost entirely naturist and has good facilities based around the Christos Taverna, including showers, toilets, security boxes for valuables and sunbed/parasol hire. There have been problems in the past with inappropriate activity around each end of the beach, although the tavena area is unaffected and even has its own beach attendant.
