Plage de L'Escalet, France - Tolerated Nude Beach

The Plage de L'Escalet nude beach is located at Les Tournels on the St Tropez peninsula, midway between Cap Camarat and Cap Cartaya (also known as Cap Taillat). To get there, drive along the D93 from either Pampelonne or La Croix-Valmer and follow the signs for Les Tournels (which is in the opposite direction to Ramatuelle). There is no bus service. It's much quieter here than on the Plage de Pampelonne in the next bay.

PLAGE DE L'ESCALET NUDE BEACH REPORTS:

1. If you're feeling bold, go nude at the Plage de l'Escalet, on the southern side of Cap Cammerat. You may have to hitch a ride to this remote spot, but take your jewels -- you'll want to fit in with the local naturists.
