Plage de Kerminihy, France - Officially Recognised Nude Beach

The beautiful sand and shingle beach of Plage de Kerminihy close to the Etel estuary is about 2km long and backed by a narrow line of sand dunes. Travel 6km westwards from Erdeven. Bathing is only safe at the southern half of this nude beach due to its exposure to the Atlantic swell. Good for families with easy access and a friendly atmosphere. There is also a naturist camping and caravan site close to Erdeven called La Pinède, part of the Club Naturiste Bretagne Sud.

4. Naturism is practised on the beach of Kerminihy, most Western of the littoral of Erdeven. Very great fine sand beach, it is separated from the non-nudist area by la pointe de la Roche sèche, thus allowing the followers of this art of living to benefit from their holidays with complete freedom, without fear to shock those which do not share their philosophy. The site is accessible starting from the carpark of Kerminihy, to the west, and from that of the dry Rock, in the east.
