Leucate Plage, France - Officially Recognised Nude Beach

Leucate
Plage is close to the Étang
de Leucate, 35km northeast of
Perpignan, on France's Mediterranean
coast, which results in calmer
seas, although it's close to enough
to the Pyrenees to benefit from
a welcome cooling breeze in
summer. The sand on this 1km
long nude beach is fine and
golden. Nearby are the modern
naturist resorts of Aphrodite
Village and Club
Oasis (both located on
the beach itself) and at the
other end of the beach is the
older Ulysse
Nature which has basic accommodation
and a camping ground. |

LEUCATE PLAGE NUDE BEACH REPORTS:

Oasis Village, Leucate S.France. Nice nudist resort. Beautiful apartments with sea view only 50 meters from the nude beach. Awesome sandy beach. But too many families with kids and the resort has only 3 restaurants and nobody there speaks English. Especially at the Palmier pizzeria at the oasis village pool, they are so rude that you could starving to death and they would continue to ask you in French what you would like to be served. - A Greek Nude

The Nude Village OASIS in Port Leucate (South of France, close to Perpignan) is sincerely one of the most beautiful Naturist Clubs in all Europe. It is optimized for families with youngsters. Every apartment is close to the nude beach (1 min.) and offers all the comforts. - FKK Info

Take the D627 and look out for the "Naturist Villages" sign on the left. You can park outside Aphrodite resort and Oasis resort and leave your clothes in the car; walk to the nude beach on a path between the two resorts offices; the path is marked "Plage naturiste." - Bonjour!
