The Playa Papagayo
nude beaches are at the southern end of Lanzarote, close to Playa Blanca, the third largest resort on the island. Playa de Papagayo itself is rarely used for nude sunbathing for two reasons. Firstly, it is overlooked by the large restaurant which sits on the peninsula and, secondly, its reputation as the best beach on the island attracts many non-nudist visitors. However, the good news is that there are several nude beaches in the area which are just as nice. They are called Playa del Congrio, Playa Las Mujeres and Playa del Pozo. All of these beaches are suitable for nude sunbathing although they have no facilities so take everything you need with you. |
